Blues legend Fats Domino has been inducted into the Delta Music Museum Hall of Fame

AceShowbiz -

Fats Domino was inducted into the Delta Music Museum Hall of Fame Saturday April 1st, 2006, but didn't feel up to the trip to accept the award in person.

Despite such fact, the 77-year-old Blues legend said in his letter to accept his hall of fame honor that he was "touched". Also he added "Hurricane Katrina led a path of destruction through my home. However, she would not destroy my faith in God and my love of music and my fans."

As for everybody to know, Domino has also been slated to perform at the New Orleans Jazz Festival alongside Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello in April and May later this year.
