In the neon-drenched, perpetually nocturnal world of "Vampires of the Velvet Lounge", immortality is a tedious grind of bad nightclub gigs and eternal roommate drama. Directed by Adam Sherman, this darkly comedic tale follows a coven of decidedly unglamorous vampires, led by the perpetually exasperated Mena Suvari and the scene-stealing Dichen Lachman, who run a struggling Los Angeles lounge as a front for their sanguinary needs. Their mundane eternity is upended when a mix of supernatural threats, from rival factions to a mysterious hunter, and the complications of human entanglements—including those with a charismatic but troublesome figure played by Stephen Dorff—converge on their seedy establishment.
