It's shocking to hear that some idiot has an issue with a black man portraying a fictional character in this day and age, but then again maybe not. I guess it really isn't that shocking when you have back yard hillbillies protesting the funerals of fallen solders. Idris is playing a character based on mythology, I suppose the idiots who are protesting can't afford a dictionary, if they could they wouldn't have a problem comprehending the definition of the word Mythological.

If there was a betting line in Vegas I would bet the director 5 buckoroo's that he make a cheesy 3G filmed like X2 and X3. X1 and Wolverine had the best fight scenes and storyline yet of the X series- well that is if you don't count the Wolverine scene of walking away and blowing up a helicopter after a stupid deathwish joke by the crash victims; or the short and little detail fight scenes of Gambit and B-eyes peas guy. Overall, if thor is not adapted to the 3G effects used in Spidey1 and Spidey2 with "God of War" battles with the evil doers. Thor will be a bust right from start because it hard to create realism from a Greek Mythology and bring it to earth. Sorta like Alien- the Requiem. Hard to put the story line together with no true pre-battles and no similar fantasy environment on earth. On first movie, it probably best to keep Thor in Asgard to build story line to Thor2 on Earth. At least 80% of the Movie anyway. The fight with the hulk should be his only earth fight.

The fight with the hulk should probably be his only earth fight which send him back to Asgard to Recue the Hulk and Fight Loki. I know, I know.........u don't have to be an overpaid hollywood writer to have good ideas. Ha, ha- Smiling !!

I meant to say and type this for those who come across my comments and read them: Oh, and let me add that the 3G in Thor better take an example or two from Micheal Bay "Transformer" when fighting the Hulk in the human world and the realism of Hulk2 when fighting humans, mortals, and immortals. Ha, Ha......shoulda put the real fans on payroll to help lost hollywood writers.

The guy who played Sabretooth could pull it off, or go HOLLYWOOD and give it too Denis Quied, while your at it, make "House's Hugh Laurie" Dr. Strange, lol, I got more... Green Lantern could be Omar Epps, the two can take turns in between House, lol

Who can think of a better person to play the Thunder God than WWE Powerhouse Triple H? He has already proven a formidable foe in Blade Trinity
