After a decade of success and personal evolution, the members of the iconic rock band Magik find themselves leading separate lives, their youthful passion for music dimmed by adult responsibilities and shattered dreams. In Rock On 2, directed by Shujaat Saudagar, the story follows Farhan Akhtar as Aditya Shroff, who has traded his guitar for a corporate desk, and Arjun Rampal as Joe Mascarenhas, now a struggling chef in a small town. Their worlds collide when they cross paths with a mysterious and fiercely talented folk singer, played by Shraddha Kapoor, who carries a painful secret from her past in the remote hills of Meghalaya. Inspired by her raw, soulful music and the struggles of a community silenced by circumstance, Aditya and Joe reunite with bassist Kedar ( Purab Kohli) and drummer KD ( Shashank Arora) to rediscover their creative fire. This drama explores the healing power of music as the band takes on a new, deeply personal mission, confronting inner demons and societal apathy to give a voice to the unheard.
