"Carter High" is a film based on a true story about a High School Football powerhouse in Dallas, Texas in the 1980's. The blockbuster film, "Friday Night Lights", highlights Carter High as Odessa Permian approaches the State Finals.

Carter has to overcome tremendous difficulties to reach their ultimate goal of a state championship. As parents and community leaders come together to support the youth through their hardships, the team becomes the hero of the community.
