In a gritty tale of crime and consequence, a hardened getaway driver finds his world shattered when a heist goes violently wrong, leaving him paralyzed and abandoned by the very crew he trusted. Struggling with profound physical and emotional isolation, he is portrayed with raw intensity by Jesse Plemons, a man now confined to a wheelchair and consumed by bitterness. His path toward any semblance of peace is further complicated by the arrival of a determined and compassionate home health aide, played by Kaitlyn Dever, whose own troubled past challenges his walls of resentment. This tense psychological drama weaves a story of fractured loyalty and the arduous search for forgiveness, as the driver is forced to confront the ghosts of his old life while navigating a new, vulnerable existence. The film masterfully builds an atmosphere of claustrophobic suspense and moral ambiguity, asking whether redemption is possible for a man who can no longer run from his sins.
