What Just Happened?
Comedy, Drama

"What Just Happened" is a winningly sharp comedy about two nail-biting, back-stabbing, roller-coaster weeks in the world of a middle-aged Hollywood producer -- as he tries to juggle an actual life with an outrageous series of crises in his day job.

Academy Award winning director Barry Levinson reunites with Academy Award winning actor Robert De Niro and leading producer Art Linson, who wrote the screenplay based on his bestselling memoir. They all join with an all-star cast in this rollicking, shrewd tale of a man besieged by people who want him to be all sorts of things -- a money maker, an ego buster, a bad news breaker, an artistic champion, a loyal husband, an all-knowing father, not to mention sexy, youthful and tuned-in - everything except for the one thing he and all the preposterously behaved people he's surrounded by really are: bumbling human beings just trying to survive by any means necessary.

Ben (De Niro) is already in over his head trying to balance the tug-of-war of having two ex-wives and two different families with his latest business venture - the boldly "visionary" movie "Fiercely" starring Sean Penn (Sean Penn) - when everything that can go wrong goes completely screwy.

"Fiercely" looks like an audience-offending flop which draws the ire of iron-gloved studio chief Lou (Catherine Keener), who forces him into tangling with the film's rebellious and drug-addled director Jeremy (Michael Wincott). Meanwhile, he's confused and bewitched by his ex Kelly (Robin Wright Penn) who can't make up her mind about him; shocked by his daughter Zoe (Kristen Stewart), who seems to have grown up overnight; infuriated by his screenwriter friend Scott (Stanley Tucci) who's trying to make a deal with him while making moves on his former wife; horrified by a hirsute Bruce Willis (Bruce Willis) and flummoxed by Willis' nebbishy agent Dick (John Turturro), who's scared to death of his own clients.

Somehow amidst all the madness, treachery, deceit, runaway egos, rampant commercialism, personal politics and atrocious behavior of America's dream-making machinery, Ben has to find a way not just to make it to Cannes with a finished film, but to cope...

What Maisie Knew

Drawing from classic American literature but rooted in today's New York City, "What Maisie Knew" is an affecting portrait of a family coming apart, as seen from the vantage point of a six-year-old girl who watches the adults around her behave like children.

Susanna (Julianne Moore) is a pushy but seductive rock and roll icon married to Beale (Steve Coogan), a charming, distracted art dealer. Unnerved by the prospect of middle-aged stasis and drawn to other lovers, the couple eventually divorces. Maisie (Onata Aprile), their only child, is caught in the middle of it all, a flesh-and-blood bargaining tool who winds up being shuttled back and forth between her parents as they each attempt to start their lives afresh with new partners. What to Expect When You're Expecting
Romance, Comedy

Inspired by the perennial New York Times bestseller of the same name, "What to Expect When You're Expecting" is a hilarious and heartfelt big screen comedy about five couples whose intertwined lives are turned upside down by the challenges of impending parenthood. Over the moon about starting a family, TV fitness guru Jules and dance show star Evan find that their high-octane celebrity lives don't stand a chance against the surprise demands of pregnancy. Baby-crazy author and advocate Wendy gets a taste of her own militant mommy advice when pregnancy hormones ravage her body; while Wendy's husband, Gary, struggles not to be outdone by his competitive alpha-Dad, who's expecting twins with his much younger trophy wife, Skyler. Photographer Holly is prepared to travel the globe to adopt a child, but her husband Alex isn't so sure, and tries to quiet his panic by attending a "dudes" support group, where new fathers get to tell it like it really is. And rival food truck chefs Rosie and Marco's surprise hook-up results in an unexpected quandary: what to do when your first child comes before your first date? A kaleidoscopic comedy as universal as it is unpredictable, "What to Expect When You're Expecting" finds humor and uplift in all the unexpected trials and triumphs of welcoming a child into the world. The film stars Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Chace Crawford, Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick, Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock, Rodrigo Santoro, Ben Falcone and Joe Manganiello.

What We Do in the Shadows
Comedy, Horror

"What We Do in the Shadows" chronicles the adventures of four vampire roommates trying to get by in a modern world that's not always hospitable to the undead. Clement and Waititi, creators of the HBO hit series "Flight of the Conchords," co-wrote, co-directed, and co-star in this hilarious send-up in which an endearingly unhip quartet of friends reveal to us or, rather, to the documentary crew that's filming them, the details of their daily-make that nightly-routine. Ranging in age from 183 to 8,000, and in appearance from adorably youthful to Nosferatu-crusty, they squabble over household chores, struggle to keep up with the latest trends in technology and fashion, antagonize the local werewolves, cruise clubs for lovely ladies, and deal with the rigors of living on a very, very strict diet.

What We Do Is Secret
Biography, Drama, Music

Set in Los Angeles in the late 1970's, the story begins when Paul Beahm amd George Ruthenberg, driven by drugs, music and rebellion, became determined to make their mark on society. Paul adopted the name Darby Crash, George became Pat Smear, and Terry Ryan, a girl they met while stalking Freddie Mercury, became bassist Lorna Doom. They called themselves The Germs because, according to Darby, everything starts from a germ and these Germs were going to start everything. And, very quickly, The Germs became the chaotic beating heart of an equally chaotic scene.

The Germs performed blistering shows that often left destroyed clubs and were banned from every club in the city. As the scene grew more violent and Darby sank deeper into drugs, the band broke up and Darby escaped to London. When he returned to LA in 1980 he reunited The Germs and played a torrid, sold-out show that is still remembered as their best ever. Then, sealing his rightful place in the pantheon of icons, Darby followed through on his five year plan to become a legendary hero, killing himself with an overdose of heroin. He was twenty-one years old.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential punk bands in history, numerous bands have recorded tributes to The Germs, including Courtney Love and Hole, Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Mike D (Beastie Boys) Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), L7 (Slash recording artist). Pat Smear later achieved international stardom playing for bands Nirvana and the Foo Fighters.

Twenty five years later, after a smash Los Angeles show to celebrate the completion of shooting on WHAT WE DO IS SECRET, The Germs have reunited once again, making actor Shane West their new lead singer. They are currently planning a series of upcoming tour dates around the world.
