Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, (Lisa) Olivia Munn relocated to different places but was raised mainly in Tokyo, Japan. There she appeared in a number of local theater productions and worked as a fashion model. After that moving back to her homeland, she at last headed for Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Munn landed small roles at first in some direct-to-video films. She, moreover, also appeared in rock band Zebrahead's music video for their song "Hello Tomorrow" as the love interest of its lead singer Justin Mauriello. Her career took a promising turn with her starring role as Maria in the 2007 comedy flick "Big Stan". The July 3, 1980-born actress had since landed bigger parts in such movies as, "Date Night", "Iron Man 2", and "I Don't Know How She Does It". In 2012 alone, she was cast in three different features, namely "Magic Mike", "The Babymakers", also "Freeloaders". These were followed by "Deliver Us from Evil" in 2014 and "Mortdecai" in 2015.
On TV, Munn had guest starred on "Chuck" also "Robot Chicken". Besides, she had recurring parts on "Beyond the Break", "Greek", and "New Girl". She was the main characters on comedy series "Perfect Couples" and political drama series "The Newsroom".
Munn began dating Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in May 2014, a month after breaking up from Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman, whom she began dating in March 2012.
