The Equalizer 2 is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk. A sequel to the 2014 film The Equalizer, the film stars Denzel Washington reprising his role as Robert McCall, a former government operative who comes out of retirement to seek vengeance for the death of a friend. The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 20, 2018. In the scene from the movie titled 'In the Name of Love', Robert McCall is seen interrogating a suspect in the kidnapping of a young girl.
