**Synopsis
Deception is a legal drama television series that premiered on ABC on March 11, 2018. The series follows the life of Joanna Locasto, a brilliant criminal defense attorney who is known for her unconventional methods. In the series premiere, Joanna is hired to defend a wealthy businessman who is accused of murdering his wife. As Joanna investigates the case, she begins to suspect that her client may be guilty. The series also stars Jack Cutmore-Scott as DA Julius Kim, Laila Robins as Detective Nina Mora, and Amaury Nolasco as Investigator Mike Alvarez. Deception was created by Chris Fedak and Tony Phelan. The series was canceled after one season.
