The Maze Runner: The Death Cure is an upcoming 2018 American dystopian science fiction action film directed by Wes Ball, written by T.S. Nowlin, and based on the novel of the same name by James Dashner. The film is the third and final installment in The Maze Runner film series, following The Maze Runner (2014) and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015). The film stars Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Giancarlo Esposito. The film follows Thomas and his fellow Gladers as they search for a cure to the deadly virus known as the Flare.
