Maze Runner: The Death Cure is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by Wes Ball, written by T. S. Nowlin, and starring Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Giancarlo Esposito. Based on the 2011 novel of the same name by James Dashner, it is the third and final installment in The Maze Runner film series and the sequel to Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015).
