My Little Pony: The Movie is an upcoming American computer-animated musical fantasy adventure film based on Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise. The film, directed by Jayson Thiessen, stars the voices of Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain, and Cathy Weseluck. In the film, the ponies of Equestria embark on a journey to find the stolen Crystal of Friendship and restore magic to their world. The film is set to be released in theaters on October 6, 2017. A sneak peek of the film was released on YouTube on February 23, 2017.
