Designated Survivor 1.08 Preview

The eighth episode of the first season of the American political drama television series Designated Survivor is titled "The First Day". It was directed by Felix Alcala and written by Keith Eisner. The episode premiered on ABC on October 19, 2016. In the episode, President Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) faces his first day in office after being sworn in as the President of the United States following the Capitol bombing that killed President Cornelius Moss (Geoff Pierson), Vice President Peter MacLeish (Ashley Zukerman), and the rest of the Cabinet.
