Julieta is an upcoming Spanish drama film directed by Pedro Almodóvar. The film stars Emma Suárez, Adriana Ugarte, and Daniel Grao. The film is based on three short stories by Alice Munro: "Chance," "Soon," and "Silence." The film tells the story of Julieta, a woman who is haunted by the disappearance of her daughter, Antia. Julieta is forced to confront her past in order to find her daughter. The film was released in Spain on April 8, 2016, and will be released in the United States on December 21, 2016.
