Animal Kingdom is an upcoming American crime drama television series created by Jonathan Lisco. The series is based on the 2010 Australian film of the same name. It stars Ellen Barkin, Scott Speedman, Shawn Hatosy, Ben Robson, Jake Weary, Finn Cole, Daniella Alonso, and Molly Gordon. The series follows the Cody family, a criminal dynasty in Southern California, and their attempts to maintain their power and influence in the face of threats from both the law and rival gangs. The first look promo for the series was released on May 10, 2016.
