In the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service," titled "Phoenix," the team investigates the murder of a Navy lieutenant commander who was found dead in his apartment. The victim, Commander David Hayes, was a decorated officer who had recently returned from a deployment in Afghanistan. The team must determine whether Hayes' death was related to his military service or if there was another motive. Meanwhile, Gibbs and McGee are called to investigate a robbery at a local gun store. The store was robbed by two masked men who made off with several weapons. Gibbs and McGee must track down the robbers before they can sell the weapons and potentially cause more harm.
