Every thousand years, the gods convene to decide the fate of humanity, and this time, their verdict is unanimous: extinction. But before the final decree is carried out, a lone valkyrie, Brunhilde, challenges the divine council to a final, desperate gamble. Instead of a silent apocalypse, she proposes Record of Ragnarok, a tournament where thirteen legendary human champions will battle thirteen of the most powerful gods in a series of one-on-one death matches. From the might of Thor to the cunning of Zeus, the divine roster is stacked against humanity, which must rely on its greatest historical figures, including the likes of the warrior Lü Bu and the philosopher Socrates. Each human fighter is paired with a valkyrie who transforms into a powerful weapon, leveling the playing field against impossible odds. The series blends brutal, high-octane combat with deep emotional backstories, exploring the very essence of what it means to be human. With the fate of the entire world hanging on every blow, these epic clashes become a philosophical debate on strength, will, and the indomitable spirit of mankind.
