In a world where sound carries hidden emotions and unspoken truths, the series "mono" follows a reclusive audio engineer who discovers an extraordinary ability to hear the emotional frequencies embedded within everyday noises. Set in a near-future metropolis where silence has become a luxury, the protagonist must navigate a society that has commodified sound itself, all while grappling with a personal tragedy that left them unable to speak. When a mysterious broadcast threatens to unravel the fabric of this carefully controlled auditory landscape, the engineer is drawn into a dangerous investigation that pits them against powerful corporations and underground collectives alike. Alongside a determined journalist and a quirky sound archivist, they uncover a conspiracy that could either liberate humanity or plunge it into permanent silence. Blending elements of psychological thriller with speculative science fiction, the show explores themes of communication, isolation, and the profound ways in which sound shapes our connections to one another. As the lines between noise and meaning blur, the characters must decide what they are willing to sacrifice for the truth.
