In the hallowed halls of the Kouka School of Musical and Theatrical Arts, a group of young women dedicate their lives to the demanding world of the all-female Takarazuka Revue. The series follows Sarasa Watanabe, a starry-eyed girl with a towering height and a deep, resonant voice who dreams of becoming an otokoyaku, a performer who plays male roles. Her path crosses with the brilliant but emotionally guarded Ai Narata, a former idol carrying the scars of a traumatic past. As they navigate the intense physical training, cutthroat competition, and complex social dynamics of the academy, both girls must confront their personal demons and learn to channel their pain into powerful performances. Balancing fierce rivalry with budding camaraderie, the show explores themes of identity, trauma, and the transformative power of art, all set against the vibrant, dramatic backdrop of the stage.
