RJ and Alex are at Low Bar talking about their shared love of motorcycles. They used to ride together, and both of them miss the feel of riding a motorcycle on the open road. Alex starts to consider buying a motorcycle. Back at the apartment, Alex runs the motorcycle idea by Whitney. She is adamantly opposed to the idea and forbids it.
Lily decides that, since she's an investor in Low Bar, she has a right to make some bar decisions. She begins by ordering new types of beer without consulting Mark first. Mark is upset that Lily is trying to take control of his bar. RJ arrives and announces that he bought a motorcycle. Alex checks out RJ's new ride, which inspires him to purchase one of his own against Whitney's wishes.
Alex heads home and tells Whitney that he bought a motorcycle. Whitney is upset that Alex defied her wishes, and eventually Alex leaves in a huff. Whitney heads to Low Bar to meet with Lily and Roxanne, where she complains about Alex and his motorcycle. Alex and RJ arrive at the bar, and Alex has just been in a minor motorcycle accident. Alex leaves again, still upset.
Whitney catches Alex outside before he leaves and apologizes for trying to control Alex. He asks Whitney to join him for a motorcycle ride, but Whitney refuses the offer. Later, Alex decides to sell his motorcycle because, even though he really likes riding his bike, he found it hard to have fun without Whitney with him.
Back at Low Bar, Lily has a keg of fancy imported beer delivered against Mark's wishes. Mark refuses to tap the keg, and Lily can't move it herself. Roxanne tells Mark and Lily to stop arguing because they're ruining the bar. Mark admits that he's upset because Lily's beer choices sell better than his. Lily agrees to run all future bar-related decisions by Mark.
