Paris Hilton's My New BFF Episode 1.08 My Kind of People

After eliminating Kiki, Paris gives the remaining BFF's one last Vegas challenge. The girls must use their last night in Vegas to find guy who are willing to come back and party at the BFF mansion. Paris tells the girls that their guys will be judged on a hotness scale of 1-10. She also warns them that not bringing a guy back, or even worse, bringing an ugly guy back, will have serious consequences.

The BFFs head back to the casino in a man-hunting frenzy, but quickly realize this challenge will be harder than expected. Although Corrie easily finds three guys who jump at the chance to come back and meet Paris, the other girls aren't quite as in their element. Kayley is shot down, and then can't seem to find a guy worthy of Paris' attention, so she gives up before the night is even over. Shelley finds herself getting hit on by a married man, and Lauren's beer goggles get the best of her.

As if one night wasn't enough, Paris sends the BFFs back out in LA the next night to find even more boys. Although the bars are almost empty, or, as Kayley describes them, only have hideous men, some of the girls manage to rope a few guys into coming to their party. Lauren is especially determined to win this challenge, and invites every guy she sees, quickly lowering her standards out of desperation to win.

The morning of the pool party, the BFFs are disappointed to see that only five guys actually showed up. Brittany and Shelley are especially disappointed, because each of their guys who they thought would be a sure thing bailed. Shelley even calls her guy to plead with him to make an appearance, but ends up talking to his voice mail. Brittany makes a desperate attempt to ask Vanessa for one of her two guys, but Vanessa refuses.

Paris arrives at the pool party with her friend and man-expert, Allison Melnick, and is immediately disgusted. She expected wall-to-wall hotties, not a small handful of wannabees. But Allison goes ahead with the judging, and doesn't hold back on the harshness.

The guys make a poor showing, only scoring 5's or 6's on the hotness scale, one guy is wasted, and another kisses Lauren on the lips during the judging. After only a few seconds of deliberation, Paris announces that Shelley and Brittany lost the challenge, and Vanessa won. Since Vanessa had double the guys, she gets double the prize: first, an original painting from her favorite artist, Todd Goldman, secondly, she is exempt from elimination, and as a bonus, she gets to be Paris' pet for the second time.

After the man-hunt judging, Paris dismisses the boys and calls the girls inside for their own judging. She sets up a mock court room, with Vanessa as the judge, where all the girls will have to listen to a video an unknown witness has taped, talking about the contestant.

Shelley is the first to be sworn in, but her judging in harmless. Vanessa shows a video of Shelley's best friend, gushing about what a sweet girl Shelley is, in case anyone didn't know that yet. But Vanessa isn't ready to let Shelley off the hook. She asks if Shelley really is so sweet she doesn't have to defend herself, or if she's just boring. After Shelley insists she's really just a good friend but still loves fun, the BFF's are all bored and move on to someone more scandalous, Lauren.

Lauren's clip is of two of her ex-friends, who claim that one night, while drunk at a bar, Lauren showed her boobs and straddled one of them to make out. Lauren insists it's all lies, but that's up to Paris to decide.

Kayley's next, and has to explain a clip of her ex-boyfriend warning Paris of Kayley's party habits and fiery temper. Corrie takes the stand next, and can only laugh at her ex-best-friend-turned-hater, who warns Paris to run away from Corrie. Vanessa puts a twist on things with the last contestant, Brittany. Instead of a video-clip, Brittany's ex-friend comes in person. She tells Paris the story of why she and Brittany aren't friends anymore: because Brittany allegedly hooked up with her ex as soon as they broke up.

After everything is said and done, Paris chooses Corrie to go up for elimination, and Vanessa chooses Shelley. At elimination, Corrie insists that her ex-friend only said horrible things about her because she was jealous of how much attention Corrie is now getting. Next, Shelley defends her personality, saying that although she is sweet, she has a tough enough skin for Hollywood. Paris shocks everyone when she takes Shelley's words to heart, and asks her to switch places with Kayley.

Although each of the 'safe' contestants tells Paris they think Corrie should go home, ultimately Paris decides Kayley just brings too much drama, and eliminates her, instead.
