The Smurfs are coming! The Smurfs are coming! Yes, those adorable blue creatures from Saturday mornings of yesteryear are smurfing their way into the Sunshine Center for an ice show. This particular event has Crystal in a bit of a tizzy. She says, "I have Smurf history. Let's just leave it at that."

Crystal's also bummin' because she's never been close to her son. Today is a prime example of that, but only because Roman is missing. After following a trail of Reese's Pieces, Ben realizes Roman has been living in the snack supply room. The kid has a nice puffy popcorn bed and a soft cotton candy pillow. Reluctantly, Ben tells Roman he can crash with him for a few days.

In order to avoid a bout of night terrors, Roman bunks in Ben's bed. Hey, at least he packed his own cotton candy pillow. The next day, Ben tries to convince Crystal to let Roman move in with her. The conversation is cut short once his boss starts smacking the stuffing out of an unsuspecting Smurfette. It's the most brutal, blue beatdown in Sunshine Center history.

After Roman inexplicably helps Ben balance the company's budget, the two of them engage in a night filled with video games, cup hands and a broken lamp. During a round of "Truth or Dare," Roman admits that his greatest fear is that he'll never be close with his mom. Then he breaks another lamp.

Alice is flustered because Alonzo is the perfect man. With help from the mascot, Alonzo creates a romantic dinner setting in the office. The guy also gives blood in the middle of a clothing drive while learning Spanish. But when Alice discovers that her boyfriend fibbed to her about never being married, she realizes that he's not perfect. In fact, Alonzo's a big, fat liar. Alice is overjoyed!

Crystal opens up the ice to all the homeless people in town. They are free to do all the figure eights they desire because Crystal's antics have forced the Smurfs to cancel their show. Ben wants to know why these fuzzy little guys make her so darn blue. Turns out Crystal once had a shot to be a featured dancer in Smurfs on Ice. Then Roman came along and she had to leave the show.

Ben helps Crystal realize that even though it's too late for an ice skating career, there's still time to make things right with her son. Crystal asks Roman to move in with her, but he doesn't want to rush into things. He'll just stay with Ben. There will be some grounds rules; the most important one states that there is to be "no nudity." Roman will do his best to comply, but offers no promises.

Ben manages to smooth things over with the Smurfs, so the show will go on. He also slides Papa Smurf a few bucks to take to the ice with his boss for a little preshow exhibition. The staff looks on as Crystal dazzles them with her routine. She's good. Real good. You could even say she's Smurftastic!
