After spending days locked in his aerie, Jane finally emerges with a list of seven possible Red John suspects. Before he has a chance to investigate further, however, Lisbon interrupts him with news of an old school Red John murder. The body of a female carnival worker was found dead in a motel room, and it doesn't take Jane long to realize that she was an acquaintance from his old life. As the team attempts to find the killer - and the victim's baby, who was abducted during the murder - Jane wonders whether Red John killed this woman as a personal message to him.
