When a woman is found dead in her home, Jane immediately suspects that her husband, away on a rafting trip, is the killer. The couple was dealing with issues in their marriage, going so far as to see a 'love doctor' who has his own local radio show. After paying a visit to the station, Jane decides to use the radio show as part of his plan to find the guilty party. At his request, Rigsby and Van Pelt pose as a couple on the show and are finally forced to talk through their complex romantic history.
