After learning that JJ LaRoche of the Professional Standards Unit is questioning Agent Rigsby about his possible involvement in a murder, we flash back to a crime investigation several days earlier. The CBI works a case in Carson Springs, a town divided in half by two rival gangs - the Overtons and Low-Riders - who each have their own turf. The last time their feud turned into all-out war, thirty people died. When the team realizes that their victim is the son of an Overton who was killed on Low-Rider turf, they realize that they need to act quickly before a gang war breaks out. Things get personal for Rigsby, however, when Jane uncovers a clue at the crime scene that leads him to a shot and bloody Steve Rigsby.
