MURDER STRIKES FAMILY OF DEFENSE ATTORNEY -- When Marjorie Jensen, the wife of zealous defense lawyer Harold Jensen (guest star Peter Friedman), is murdered behind the tinted windows of the couples' car, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) suspect that Mrs. Jensen may not have been the true target of the murder. As more is learned about the hot-shot attorney, the list of enemies with motives grows to include a disgruntled client (guest star Lord Jamar) and a disappointed former lover (guest star Annie Parisse) with a dangerous ex-boyfriend (guest star Victor Verhaeghe). But as Executive A.D.A. McCoy (Sam Waterston) and A.D.A. Southerlyn (Elisabeth Rohm) uncover the connections between the motley group of suspects, they turn their focus back to the grieving husband who is more than eager to get back into the courtroom.
