MURDER AMIDST CORPORATE BANKRUPTCY SCANDAL -- Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) are called to the murder scene of an investment analyst who had been recommending stock in Everson Technologies--a company undergoing a high-profile bankruptcy. Though there is no shortage of suspects among disgruntled investors who lost their life savings, the detectives focus on one close to home, the victim's brother-in-law (guest star Brian O'Neill), who may have had not only financial but personal reasons for wanting to see the man dead.
