Synopsis

YOUNG BOY IS FOUND DEAD -- IS A 'BAD SEED' RESPONSIBLE? -- When a young boy is found murdered at a construction site, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) converge on an auto mechanic (guest star Alan Davidson) as their prime suspect based on the eyewitness accounts of two unusual girls whose stories don't mesh, thereby arousing the curiosity of the veteran investigators. More probing reveals that one of the little girls might be to blame, making it a tough case for McCoy (Sam Waterston), who fears that unless the 10-year-old child is proven to be responsible for her increasingly violent acts and isolated, other children will suffer.
