Present day: Mike meets Danny on the floor of the casino. They complain about having to let criminals go because of all the technicalities in the law. They think it's probably why Ed quit. They talk about the Jubilee, an old Vegas joint they tore down in the '60s where the Montecito is now built.

We do a flashback to Mike, Ed and Danny at the Jubilee, reminiscing on what it was like back in the day, and how strong-arm tactics were the way to get business done.

They enter the casino where Chubby Checker is performing. Mike tries to show Danny how to dance the Twist. Ed catches them dancing and heads to a back office to see Mr. Colette, the owner of the Jubilee. Ed doesn't want a room comped, he wants 51% of the casino. Mr. Colette says he's going to call his 'friends' in Kansas City.

Sam enters the casino and Danny and Mike instantly check her out. Danny buys her a Manhattan at the bar. He introduces himself but she already knows his name and that he's taking over the Jubilee. She gives him her number.

Ed meets up with Danny and Mike and brings in the Nevada Gaming Commission to shut down the Jubilee's license. Mr. Colette is forced to hand over the joint to renew the license.

Inside the hotel's coffee shop, Mary waits on the boys but her boss, Ray, says they don't serve Negroes. Ed takes Ray aside and tells him he's the new president of the casino. Ray talks back to him, so Ed punches him in the gut and sends him out.

Back in the casino lobby, Delinda moves into the casino and wants to be a showgirl. Ed won't stand for her being in the show so she offers an alternative ' opening a dress shop instead. Ed reluctantly agrees.

Danny approaches Mary at the end of her shift and asks her if she would like to be the new coffee shop manager. Danny asks her to dinner, but Mary says she doesn't want to give him anything in return for the promotion.

Back in the casino, Mike checks security on the floor. He watches a roulette table and a cheat taking the dealer for a run. Mike catches the guy and punches him in the gut telling him if he ever comes back, he won't be so easy on him.

At the pool, Ed meets a high roller who asks him to get him a hooker for his son's 21st birthday. Ed says he'll take care of it.

Danny and Mike brief the hotel security team about the scams in the casino. They go up into the rafters to watch cheats with binoculars. They can't figure out how they're getting beat, so Danny devises a plan to install cameras in the rafters. They watch the film of the cheats and finally figure out what they were doing.

Danny and Mike confront the cheat and tell him they have him on film. The cheat denies doing anything wrong, so Danny takes a baseball bat and breaks the man's hand.

Ed bribes the gaming commission, but they tell him that Ray, the coffee shop manager he fired, has mob ties and they need to hire him back.

Ed finds out that Sam is the best call girl in town, so he sets up the high roller's son, Randall, with her. But when Sam shows up at the door, Randall doesn't want to have sex, so they play gin rummy instead.

At the Frank Sinatra concert, the boys all sit in front with their dates but Danny excuses himself to get Ed and Mike. Ray is in Ed's office waiting for them. Ed tells Ray they want him to run a new nightclub outside the property. They bring him out to look at it. And Ed shoots him in the head at the site. It's all real old-school Las Vegas.
