Synopsis

Rehearsals for the musical commence with a cast read-through of the script. E.J. is concerned that Nini and Ricky might be in contact with each other. Nini criticizes Ricky for not taking the production seriously, which leads him to contemplate quitting. Nini befriends Ashyln, who is writing a new song for her character, Ms. Darbus, to perform in the musical. The pair sing the song, "Wondering". Gina offers an alliance with E.J. to help him remove Ricky from the musical so that he can play Troy opposite Nini, but Gina secretly wants to remove Nini so she can replace her.
