When Nick sees Juliette woge, he assumes Adalind is trying to trick him and pulls his gun. But Juliette proves it's really her by recounting Nick's proposal, something only she would know, and begins to explain how this happened. It began innocently enough with feelings of nausea, but then the woges started. They even helped her kill her attacker at the tribunal and the Manticore. When Nick asks why she didn't immediately tell him, Juliette says she was scared he'd kill her (and him pulling a gun on her kind of proves her right). Nick, overcome with guilt that his becoming a Grimm again is at fault for Juliette's transformation, vows to find a way to reverse it, but Juliette's not done disclosing secrets. She admits she turned to Captain Renard first for help and fills Nick in on her meetings with Henrietta, including her belief that Juliette's condition is permanent. Feeling shocked, and probably betrayed, Nick walks out.

Elsewhere in Portland, teenager Peter sneaks out of his house to meet up with his girlfriend. They start getting hot and heavy in the woods, but then Peter hears something. Fearing it might be his mom looking for him, Peter tells his girlfriend to head home. As he makes his own way back, he is distracted by the sound of an accordion and goes searching for its source. What he finds is a man with an ax waiting for him. The man woges into a black foxlike creature, triggering Peter to woge in response into a rabbit-like Wesen. Peter takes off running, but the man soon catches up with him and overpowers him. As he brings down the ax, Peter lets out a piercing cry. Hearing the scream, Peter's mom grabs her shotgun and goes out searching for her son. When she finds him, his left foot has been cut off and he's been left for dead.

Nick, strolling the streets and becoming teary-eyed over how being a Grimm has ruined his relationship with Juliette, pulls himself together when he sees Hank is calling. At the crime scene, Nick and Hank interview Peter's mom, who explains that she and her family recently moved to Portland from Seattle, where her husband was killed in a car accident. In a moment of grief, Peter's mom closes her eyes and involuntarily woges. She doesn't see Nick's a Grimm, but Nick sees her, another rabbit-like Wesen.

Outside of a dodgy-looking cabin, a well-dressed couple pulls up in their car and steps out carrying a duffel bag. They enter the cabin and hand over a stack of cash to Peter's assailant. He in turn gives them Peter's severed foot. The couple inquires if he's sure this will work while the man guarantees it always has. That night, we learn what the couple was talking about when we see them discuss starting a family and begin making love - with the severed foot underneath their bed.

The next day, Juliette finds Nick sleeping on the couch. He awakes with a start when she enters the room and says he wants to talk to Henrietta. After Juliette gives him the address, Nick half-heartedly says I love you and gets going. Juliette doesn't fail to notice he doesn't look at her when he says it. Henrietta maintains there's nothing she can do to reverse Juliette's condition and warns Nick he should stay out of her way as she learns to control her powers. To show Nick what she means, Henrietta transfixes him and almost gets Nick to kiss her. When Nick snaps out of it, Henrietta warns Juliette will grow to be even more powerful than her.

At the precinct, Wu and Hank fill in Nick on a similar case from a few years ago where the victim's foot was cut off. Nick reveals then that mom is a rabbit-like Wesen, and Wu says the thing we've all been thinking: could the killer be collecting lucky rabbit's feet? The three of them head to the trailer where Nick finds an entry on the Willahara, whose feet are used in a fertility ritual in which newlywed couples place the foot under their bed in order to conceive. The feet are obtained by Leporem Venators, the name given to Wesen who hunt the Willahara.

Meanwhile, Captain Renard gets a visit from Adalind, who climbs into the passenger seat of his car. She says Viktor is dead-set on finding Diana, and when he does he won't need her anymore and he'll have Renard killed. She proposes Renard team up with her to find Diana before Viktor does, but Renard's not moved. He thaws a little, though, when Adalind reveals her battle wounds from fighting Juliette and admits Juliette came to him for help. That's all Adalind needs to realize Henrietta is involved.

At the Spice Shop, Monroe and Rosalee suss out that a Wesen fertility clinic must be playing middleman between the Leporem Venator and the couple seeking a Willahara foot. The practice is highly illegal, so the clinic wouldn't be advertising it openly, but Rosalee suggests a Wesen couple could sniff around without raising suspicion. Wu calls then and reveals Peter's father died in a hit-and-run accident and that his left foot was severed off. Peter's mother and sister are also nowhere to be found and have fled their home.

Unfortunately, the Leporem Venator knows where they are after placing a tracker on the family's car. He follows them to a motel, and when Peter's mom goes to the lobby he makes his move and grabs Chloe, Peter's sister. At the same time, Monroe and Rosalee meet with a doctor they believe is working with the Leporem Venator and insinuate they're looking for a Wesen-specific fertility booster. Appalled, the doctor kicks them out, but his nurse stops them and says she can get what they're looking for. After Monroe and Rosalee agree to pay $15,000, the nurse says they can expect their Willahara foot that night.

Nick and Hank head to the motel after learning about Chloe's abduction, and Nick comes clean to Peter's mom about being a Grimm. He knows what's really going on and promises to help. After hearing from Monroe and Rosalee, Nick instructs them not to let the nurse leave and heads over to the clinic with Hank to interrogate her. She doesn't deal with the Leporem Venator directly, so she knows nothing about him, but she provides the names of the last couple that received a Willahara foot. Nick and Hank pay the pair from the start of the episode a visit and find Peter's foot under their mattress. Under threat from Nick the Grimm, the couple comes clean and tells him where to find the Leporem Venator.

Nick and Hank park nearby the cabin and slowly make their way to the door, but the Leporem Venator hears them coming. He runs into the woods and ties Chloe to a pole, then doubles back to go after Nick and Hank. The Leporem Venator once again distracts the pair with accordion music, then ambushes them. He knocks both men to the ground and nearly kills Nick with his ax but is forced to take off after realizing he's no match for Hank's gun. As he runs away, the Leporem Venator gets hit square in the face with a pole - the same one Chloe was tied to that she's now wielding as a weapon. As he falls to the ground, Chloe stabs him through the foot but it's not enough to stop him. Hank's gun, on the other hand, definitely is.

When Nick finally gets home, he tells Juliette that he spoke with Henrietta but he's not giving up. Juliette, however, isn't interested in what Nick has to say. She knows they can never go back to the way it was. When Nick protests, Juliette woges and asks Nick to kiss her. His inability to even look at her proves Juliette right.

Following her conversation with Renard, Adalind barges into Henrietta's house, desperate to know how Juliette became so skilled in such a short period of time. But another surprise awaits Adalind when Henrietta congratulates her on her second pregnancy. Confused, Adalind says it's not possible... until she remembers Nick.
