Life's a Hexenbiest - and then you turn into one? Seems to be the case for Juliette, whose brief woge disappears only to return stronger than ever. Not only is she experiencing piercing headaches now, but when she does, her Hexenbiest powers are causing glass to shatter all around her.

Nick, meanwhile, is not home to witness Juliette's transformation because he and Hank are finally giving Wu the answers he needs. The pair brings Wu to the trailer, shows him the myriad books and weapons Nick has inherited and explains what Wesen and Grimms are. Nick and Hank then present Wu with a choice: he can accept what they are telling him, crazy as it may sound, or walk away and forget they spoke. Wu dives right in to his Wesen studies.

Rosalee has just finished cleaning up the kitchen and chatting with her mom on the phone when she realizes Monroe still hasn't returned from bringing Officer Acker a sandwich. When she goes outside, she spies the broken plate on the ground and begins calling out louder and louder for Monroe. But the only response she gets is an injured Officer Acker stumbling out of the trees. A frantic Rosalee calls Nick, who comes right over with Hank and Wu. To keep Rosalee safe, Nick has her escorted to his and Juliette's house. Little does he realize that Juliette might present a danger to Rosalee as well.

When Monroe briefly wakes up, he is in the back of a van being watched over by a man with a Wesenrein mask. The masked man knocks Monroe unconscious until they arrive at their destination, a warehouse full of Wesenrein members. When everyone lays eyes on Monroe, they all begin chanting, "Impuro." Things are not looking good.

At the station, Nick and Hank interview Officer Acker, who presents himself as apologetic, then dismiss his involvement. They move on to the list of possible Wesenrein members that Trubel, Josh and Bud drew up. Nick and Hank bring the list to the captain, who gives them his blessing to bring in head honcho Shaw. Renard also inquires about Wu and Nick and Hank reveal he's been brought into the fold, with the exception of knowing the captain's true identity. When he speaks to Wu later, Renard maintains the secret of his Wesen and royal parentage.

Beaten and dehydrated, Monroe begs for water from the teen assigned to guard him. The boy, Jonah, brings it to him and a grateful Monroe takes a big sip - until he realizes it's vodka. When Jonah goes back to his lookout, Monroe finds that he's not alone and befriends Terry, who is in even worse shape than Monroe is. Terry has no idea how long he's been held captive and is concerned the Wesenrein have taken his wife, too. The masked men show up soon after to drag Terry away. When they do, he leaves Monroe his wedding ring.

Nick and Hank bring Shaw into the interrogation room and attempt to play nice. When it becomes clear Shaw has no intention of talking, however, Hank leaves and Nick goes full Grimm, throwing Shaw against the wall and choking him. Shaw is shocked to see Nick is a Grimm again, but he still refuses to give up the Wesenrein. Before Nick can kill Shaw, Hank and the captain separate them and decide that the best course of action is to release Shaw and see what he does next. Assigning Wu his first knowingly Wesen case, Renard has him stand guard outside Shaw's home.

Unfortunately, Officer Acker is one step ahead. He calls Shaw, tells him about the tail and instructs him to sneak out the back. When Shaw reaches the road behind his house, the Grand Master is waiting for him in the backseat of a car. Despite Shaw's pleas that he didn't reveal anything, the Grand Master woges and kills Shaw, leaving his body behind.

Juliette awakes with a start when Rosalee shakes her, asking her to double-check that Nick hasn't called. Not having slept a wink, Rosalee has grown more and more frantic and gets agitated when Juliette asks her to calm down. Rosalee's shouting doesn't help Juliette's already fragile state and soon, her headaches return. Knowing what's coming, Juliette warns Rosalee to walk away, but soon, she's woged and charging at Rosalee. A shocked Rosalee woges but is easily knocked out by Juliette, who in minutes has climbed atop of her best friend and killed her. When the weight of what she's done hits Juliette, she... wakes up! Rosalee is standing over her and says it looked like Juliette was having a nightmare. In that moment, we feel as relieved as Juliette.

The next morning, Nick, Hank and the captain are greeted with bad news from Wu: Shaw's been found dead. When Nick and Hank see the body, they're sure it's a Wesen killing. Along with Wu, they search Shaw's house and uncover his Wesenrein robes complete with an emblazoned wolfsangel, But Wu finds something even better, a framed photo of Shaw with Officer Acker.

After pulling Officer Acker's phone records, Nick, Hank and Wu determine he tipped off Shaw and led him outside. They also connect Acker with a man in prison he frequently visited and called. Believing this man, William Walker, could be the Wesenrein's Grand Master, Nick and Hank pay him a visit. At first, he is uncooperative but after Hank lets slip that Acker is a cop, William all too quickly reveals he only met with Acker at the behest of his cellmate, Charlie Riken, the true Grand Master. Furthermore, Charlie was released a month ago.

Back at the warehouse, Monroe seizes an opportunity for escape when he asks Jonah to free his hands so he can go to the bathroom. An arrogant Jonah, too occupied with knocking Monroe down, doesn't see it coming when Monroe picks up his chains and whacks Jonah across the face with them. Monroe manages to break out of the warehouse but he is spotted when a truck full of Wesenrein members drives by. He gets as far as the nearby woods when he stops in his tracks. There, in the clearing, is Terry's body, staked through the middle and burnt.

The Wesenrein recapture Monroe and soon, it's his turn to be judged. Monroe is brought before a tribunal, where tens of members stand wearing black and red Wesenrein robes. The Grand Master takes his place at the center of the wooden platform and Monroe looks on, ready to learn his fate.

Will Nick, Hank and Wu be able to reach Monroe in time? Will Juliette's Hexenbiest transformation prove permanent? Find out on next week's Grimm.
