While shopping for antiques at a local home, Melinda encounters a spirit of a malicious boy who is terrorizing his family. The boy died after and accident that no one wants to talk about, not even his mother. Everyone blames his former nanny for his death. He particularly haunts his baby sister, for no reason and terrorizes the nannies.

One evening, Melinda gets a phonecall from the ghost, who says : 'Who is watching the baby now?' She drives to the house to find that the nanny fell down the stairs and has some serious injuries, caused by the ghost. In need of a babysitter, she and Jim decide to watch the little girl until her mother comes home. Which gives her the time to talk to the ghost. He tells her that the accident happened after a fight with his mom when she broke a promise to him. She works too much and could not go to a ballgame with him, which made him so mad that he decided to take the car and go alone. And when pulling out of the driveway he was hit by a car driving by that didn't see him and died shortly after, in the arms of his nanny. The mother blames the nanny for not stopping her son, he blames his mother for not being there with him.

But after being confronted with the nanny again, all parties say what is on their mind and the mother decides not to work that much anymore and we kind of get the feeling that the former nanny will work for the family again, although that is never confirmed.
