Ben recognizes an old flame, but when he yells her name and chases after her, it seems that she can't get away from him fast enough. Ben later explains the situation to the gang; he dated Megan for a few months, then she completely cut off communication; no texts, no emails - she wouldn't even answer her door. Ben recruits Aaron and his super-nerd technology to track Megan down; he's got to get to the bottom of this.

Aaron and Fitz have a dinner date with Fitz's lesbian mother, who Fitz has a very close and loving relationship with. Rehashing stories of his childhood, Fitz has fond memories of being raised by women, and women only. When Fitz's mom isn't her usual self, Fitz jumps to the assumption that his mom is lonely and becomes determined to set her up.

Ben uses GPS tracking to find Megan and stage a casual run-in at the park. When she still doesn't recognize him, Megan explains that she was run over by a truck and now has trouble remembering things. Explaining that they dated for 10 weeks, Ben talks her into going on a date.

When Fitz drags his mom to a lesbian burlesque club, she can't put off the truth any longer and admits to Fitz that she's seeing someone. And that someone happens to be a man. Fitz can't cope with the fact that his mother is no longer a lesbian and lashes out at her new boyfriend, Keith.

Later on their date of a night in with pizza, Ben manages to woo Megan with talk of all the romantic dates they used to go on. Only those dates never actually happened. Ben rationalizes that if Megan can't remember their past relationship, why not make it super romantic? Ben promises Sara he'll stop his antics, but he keeps lying to Megan and reaping the benefits of her memory loss.

Riley realizes that here new guy Derek has a breast-feeding fetish. She decides to she can work with this; we've all got our weird quirks, right? Riley confronts him about his fetish and tells him that she's ready to accommodate. Derek whips out the breast pump but starts milking himself, not Riley. This is the last straw, and Riley makes a mad dash.

Fitz drowns the sorrows of his mother's new boyfriend in booze, explaining to Aaron that he's always been the only man in his mother's life. Aaron knocks some sense into him; Riley has a sweet, wonderful mother who loves him, and she's found someone who makes her happy. The least Fitz can do is be happy for her. Fitz apologizes to his mother and Keith and admits to his mom that she deserves to be happy, even if that takes a man.

The guilt of abusing Megan's amnesia finally gets to Ben, and he decides to take her out on a proper date. But on their way out, they run into a man who's apparently her fiance; "engaged to Steve" is even tattooed on the bottom of her foot. An incredulous Ben sprints away before getting pummeled by Megan's supposed fiance.
