Chris saved up twenty-seven dollars wants to buy his father something special for Father's Day. But all Julius wants is a day off from the family, a day alone in the house and off from work. Chris decides to get his father a gift anyway, but he still has no idea what to get. After asking around, Chris finds the perfect present, an LCD quartz calculator alarm watch. The next morning Julius comes home from work and shows Chris the presents he received, one of which is an LCD quartz calculator alarm watch.

The next morning is Father's Day and the family brings Julius a salty, fattening pork filled breakfast. Julius thanks them, but quickly ushers them out. Finally, he has the house to himself. Rochelle decides to take the kids to the museum and the movies, but Chris asks if he can skip it and go find Julius a present. Rochelle tells him yes. On his journey Chris can't find anything for Julius, finally he realizes what the perfect is.

Back at home Julius wakes up from his fourth nap and finds himself alone. He quickly realizes how much he misses his family and he heads out in search of them. Julius finds Rochelle and the kids at the movie theatre and they all enjoy the show.

That night, Tonya presents Julius with macaroni covered slippers, Drew gives him homemade cologne and Chris gives him a receipt for payment of the electric bill, which brings a tear to Julius' eye.
