When someone uses a tablet to bomb a movie theater, the team attempts to track down the anti-tech psychopath fixated on revealing the "truth" about society's overreliance on technology. The bomber sets up a website with a video of the bombing on it, claiming once it reaches 750,000 hits another bomb will go off. Avery reluctantly revisits her past when she realizes a now imprisoned hacker, Tobin, is involved in the case. Avery brought Tobin to work for the FBI, but he betrayed them by attempting to sell intel. With Tobin's help they manage to find the bomber holding a detonator, so Elijah is forced to shoot and kill him. Just before the website gets to 750,000 hits, they find the bomb and wire the tablet's battery to the SUV's starter to stop the explosion. Meanwhile, Avery foils Tobin's plans to put his Deep Web exploits onto the prison's mainframe after he leverages Avery for favors in exchange for information.
