Couples Therapy Episode 4.08 Repeating the Same Patterns

The group shares their opinions with Jon and Liz about their relationship and how she treats him, and Dr. Jenn brings Jon in for a session to discuss how he can be more assertive with Liz. Next, Dr. Jenn begins this week's group session by letting the couples know that they will be discussing past trauma and how it affects their current relationships. Taylor talks about the horrors she witnessed when she was only two-years-old and how it affects her choices today. Ghost discusses what his life was like as a young child and how it's a reflection of how he treats women now. Farrah explains that she has a horrible relationship with her mother, and Sada reveals the abuse she witnessed as a child. After such a heavy group discussion, Kelsey is proud of Ghost for revealing so much of himself and it helps her begin to forgive him for all the pain he's put her through. Dr. Jenn brings Farrah's mother in for therapy to discuss all of the heartache between them. The session gets heated, and it becomes clearer why Farrah struggles with some of the issues she has. Dr. Jenn decides to bring Sada's father in for therapy, and she ends up taking out her frustrations on Whitney in a heated argument.
