Continuum Episode 4.06 Final Hour

In the series finale, Kiera asks Carlos for one last favor: Give her a heads up before the Vancouver PD are going to raid the warehouse filled with Future Kellog's mercenaries. She's going there to try to stop them - and hopefully get back to her future.

In the warehouse, the portal from the future is open and Future Kellog's super soldiers get through. Brad learns his family was never intended to be saved from the future - rather, the plan is an invasion. Disgusted, he helps Kiera get access to the portal so she can try to get home. Meanwhile, Carlos and the PD arrive and have a standoff with the super soldiers and are victorious.

Kellog, being held captive by Vasquez, stabs her to escape. With her dying breath she reveals that Future Kellog is her father. Kellog races to the portal, where he leaps through thinking it will take him to the time shortly after Liber8 arrived in the present day. However, he ends up journey back hundreds of years into the past, where he finds himself surrounded by a tribe, armed with spears and looking ticked off.

Alec takes control of the portal and calibrates it so Kiera can return to 2077. He promises to build a better future for her. Kiera enters the portal and seconds later arrives in 2077, where she's met by an older Alec and Eduoard Kagame, who is not the head of Liber8 but is a peaceful dude. Alec kept his promise - he made the future a better place (it looks idyllic). However, Kiera is devastated as she realizes that by jumping ahead to the future she created a new timeline, a timeline in which her mother gave birth to another Kiera, who in turn had a son named Sam. A heartbroken Kiera is forced to watch this alternate version of herself play with her son.
