It's the first day of pastry school for Max and Caroline's first day working in the school office to pay for Max's education. In the classroom, Max meets Deke, a like-minded irreverent first year pastry student. Caroline's job is not quite what she is expecting - less financial savior and more "go-fer" for the students. Max tells her she has to find something at the school that makes her time there worthwhile for her. Caroline manipulates the office situation so that she winds up working at a desk when Nicolas, the sexy owner flirts with her. She's interested.
