Cursed by a witch as a child, a young duke possesses the deadly ability to kill any living thing he touches, forcing him to live in isolation and wear gloves at all times. The series follows this lonely nobleman, simply known as the Duke, as he navigates his secluded life in a grand mansion with only two companions: his devoted and mischievous maid, Alice, and his loyal butler, Rob. Alice, voiced by Ayana Taketatsu, is a cheerful and flirtatious young woman who constantly teases and playfully torments the Duke, despite the tragic barrier between them. The central conflict revolves around the Duke's desperate quest to break the curse, a journey that leads him to encounter a colorful cast of characters, including the enigmatic witch who cast the spell and a competitive magician named Zain, voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi.
