Michael Jackson's dad has been banned from meddling in the late King of Pop's estate after officials at the California Court of Appeal rule he has no right to intervene in the estate.

AceShowbiz - A court has rejected a bid from Michael Jackson's father to challenge the administrators of the late superstar's estate. Officials at the California Court of Appeal have ruled that the 82 year old has no right to intervene in the estate, affirming a probate judge's ruling in November 2009.
Joe Jackson had been fighting the decision in order to obtain more control over financial matters, despite the fact the singer had excluded him from his will in 2002. The "Thriller" hitmaker died in June, 2009 and his estate has since amassed a $275 million fortune.
Of the court's decision, estate attorney Howard Weitzman told Associated Press that she was pleased they confirmed Michael's wishes to John Branca and John McClain executors of his will. "We hope this decision finally puts this issue to rest," Weitzman said.
