AceShowbiz - Country sweetheart Taylor Swift has won a trademark infringement lawsuit filed against street merchants selling counterfeit memorabilia bearing her name and image. The "Love Story" hitmaker took legal action against 16 individuals who were found to be selling fake Swift goods across the U.S. while she was on the road in 2009.
A federal judge in a Nashville, Tennessee court granted the singer a default judgement last week after the defendants failed to respond to the lawsuit. As a result, the 16 street vendors have been banned from manufacturing or selling any further merchandise bearing Swift's face or name.
In a recent interview, Taylor Swift talked about Taylor Lautner who was romantically linked to her for a while. "[Taylor's] one of my best friends. He's wonderful, and we'll always be close. I'm so thankful for that," she told Glamour magazine.
