AceShowbiz - A spokesperson for movie star Nick Nolte has dismissed reports the actor has checked into a rehabilitation clinic to battle his drink and drug demons. Tabloid reports suggested Nolte checked into the exclusive Privatklinik in Dornstetten-Hallwangen, Germany on May 18 with his girlfriend, fitness trainer Clytie Lane.
The actor, 69, was previously given alcohol and drug counseling at a clinic in 2002 after he was arrested for driving under the influence. He later confessed he had been taking the date rape drug GHB "for four years".
However, Nolte's spokesperson Arnold Robinson denies reports his client has returned to rehab. Robinson tells WENN, "Mr. Nolte has not and did not check-in to a rehab facility."
