AceShowbiz - Julian McMahon was united with his dying mum before she passed away on Friday, April 2 after reportedly undergoing a back operation at the same hospital where she was receiving treatment. The "Nip/Tuck" star flew home to Australia from Los Angeles in March after learning his mum Lady Sonia McMahon was in poor condition at St Vincent's Private Hospital in Darlinghurst.
McMahon then decided to check into care alongside his mum, opting to undergo surgery for a degenerative back problem, reports the Sydney Daily Telegraph. The star checked out of the medical center on Saturday, April 3 - the day after his mum died after losing her battle with cancer.
The 77-year-old will be remembered at a private funeral in late April, which will be followed by a public memorial service.
