"It's funny because this song is essentially being ghosted," Willis said. "The day we wrote it I was talking to Madi and Derrick about what you do with that energy, with that pain and intensity, the longing and yearning. We started sonically exploring what it looked like to take that love you had for the other person, turn it inwards, and create triumph from utter heartbreak."

The accompanying music video, directed by Brett Loudermilk and Zain Curtis, was filmed at Los Angeles' historic Highland Theatre, a nearly century-old venue recently purchased by actress Kristen Stewart. The dimly lit theater serves as a powerful backdrop as Willis performs alone, her voice filling every corner of the room.

In June, Willis made her debut at Nashville's legendary Bluebird Cafe, delivering a standout performance of "Honey, I" alongside Diaz. She will next support Maren Morris on the dreamGIRL Summer Tour, kicking off July 11 at Uptown Theatre in Napa, California. The tour includes stops in Saratoga, Las Vegas, Seattle, and more through July 25.

The single follows Willis's previous releases "It Ain't Nothing" and "So Many Ways," both of which showcased her ability to blend raw lyricism with atmospheric pop and Americana influences. Her forthcoming sophomore album is expected to continue this evolution, exploring themes of pleasure and self-actualization.
