According to Deadline, Louder Than Fear will chronicle Barker’s experiences following the catastrophic 2008 Learjet crash in South Carolina. The crash tragically claimed four lives and left Barker and his close friend Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein critically injured. Sadly, Goldstein passed away a year later from a drug overdose in his New York apartment.
