AceShowbiz - The highly anticipated trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu, a spinoff film expanding the beloved Disney+ series, was released on Thursday, promising exciting new adventures for fans of the franchise. The two-minute preview follows the bounty hunter Din Djarin, portrayed by a mostly masked Pedro Pascal, alongside the adorable Grogu as they embark on a mission assigned by New Republic Colonel Ward, played by sci-fi legend Sigourney Weaver.

In the aftermath of the Empire’s collapse, several Imperial warlords have scattered across the galaxy, and the film’s central storyline revolves around the duo’s quest to capture these fugitives. The trailer showcases dynamic chases and intense action sequences, while also highlighting heartwarming moments featuring Grogu, affectionately known as "Baby Yoda."

This live-action film also introduces the character Rotta the Hutt, voiced by Jeremy Allen White, who originally appeared in the 2008 animated Clone Wars movie. Among the memorable scenes is a poignant exchange where Pascal’s Mandalorian teaches his young charge, "The old protect the young, and then the young protect the old."

Helming the project is Jon Favreau, who created the original series and has directed and written much of its content, including key episodes from The Mandalorian’s second season. Favreau is producing the film alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with executive producers Karen Gilchrist, John Bartnicki, and Carrie Beck also contributing.
