AceShowbiz - Nathy Peluso and Marc Anthony are celebrating a major achievement as their first collaboration, "Como En El Idilio," climbs to No. 1 on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart dated April 18.
The track made a remarkable ascent from its debut at No. 37 in February to the top spot in its ninth week, reflecting a steady and sustained rise in popularity. During the tracking week ending April 9, "Como En El Idilio" increased its audience impressions by 20%, reaching 9.4 million across 152 Latin-reporting radio stations in the United States, according to data from Luminate.
This milestone marks a significant moment for Nathy Peluso, who earns her first No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart with her very first entry. The Argentinian singer-songwriter also secured her first leader on any Billboard song chart when "Idilio" topped the Tropical Airplay chart, where it remains strong for its third consecutive week.
For Marc Anthony, this accomplishment adds to his impressive record, granting him his 16th No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart. This achievement ties him with Carlos Vives for the third-most chart-toppers among tropical soloists, behind Romeo Santos with 23 and Prince Royce with 20. Notably, this is Marc's first charting collaboration with a female artist since "Olvídame y Pega La Vuelta" with Jennifer Lopez, which reached No. 17 in 2017. It is also his first No. 1 collaboration with a woman since the seven-week No. 1 hit "No Me Ames," also with Lopez, back in 1999.
"Como En El Idilio" is also making waves on other Billboard charts. It climbed from No. 27 to No. 22 on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, marking Peluso's highest entry on that list to date. Additionally, the song moved up to No. 3 on the Hot Tropical Songs chart, underscoring its broad radio appeal and streaming success.
Elsewhere on the Latin charts, Luis Angel 'El Flaco' secured his third career No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart with his single "Directo al Corazón." Released on January 29 via Sony Music Mexico/Sony Music Latin, the track jumped from No. 4 to No. 1 after gaining 8.1 million audience impressions—a 16% increase during the tracking week. It dethroned Eden Muñoz's "Mi Yo de Antes," which slipped to No. 2 with a slight 1% decrease to 7.6 million impressions.
Earlier this year, Gerardo Ortiz became the first soloist to reach No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay with "Échame El Grito," which held the top spot for one week in January. "Directo al Corazón" marks another key achievement for Luis Angel 'El Flaco,' who has now accumulated 19 total entries on the chart.
