The clip highlights Slowikowska’s outlandish pitches, which leave Domingo torn between skepticism and reluctant approval.

The promo, shared on YouTube on Wednesday, April 8, opens with Slowikowska introducing herself as Domingo’s overly loud upstairs neighbor. She immediately dives into a series of eccentric ideas, brandishing props such as a fake rat and a hobby horse. While Slowikowska enthusiastically presents her concepts, Domingo’s inner thoughts reveal his true feelings—he dislikes her suggestions. However, outwardly he masks his disdain, telling her the ideas are “amazing,” creating a comedic disconnect between his internal and external reactions.

Slowikowska’s relentless stream of pitches only intensifies, pushing Domingo further into an internal dilemma. At one point, she even performs the iconic early-2000s dance move made famous by rapper Soulja Boy, known as the “Crank That.” The actor’s internal monologue questions, “Is she doing Soulja Boy?” as he watches the all-too-familiar dance. Despite his reservations, Domingo ultimately consents to all of her unconventional ideas, spiraling mentally in the process.

The episode will also feature Brazilian superstar Anitta making her SNL debut as the musical guest alongside Domingo. This appearance comes just two days after Anitta’s new collaboration with Shakira, “Choka Choka,” is released. Fans can also anticipate her seventh studio album, EQUILIBRIVM, dropping on April 16, shortly after the show airs.

This episode will be among the final performances of the current SNL season. The show recently announced its closing lineup of hosts and musical guests, promising a strong finish. On May 2, pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo will return to SNL, serving as both host and musical guest. This will mark her third overall appearance but her first time hosting. Rodrigo’s appearance will support her upcoming third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, scheduled for release on June 12. While the album arrives after her episode, the lead single “Drop Dead” will be released on April 17, allowing Rodrigo to debut the track live on the show.

Following Rodrigo’s episode, third-time host Matt Damon will take the stage with musical guest Noah Kahan on May 9. Kahan is expected to perform selections from his fourth studio album, The Great Divide, which will be released on April 24, two weeks prior to his SNL appearance.

Finally, the season will conclude on May 16 with sixth-time host Will Ferrell and fifth-time musical guest Paul McCartney. McCartney’s latest album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, is set for release on May 29, shortly after the season finale episode.
